Stockholm Arbitration Yearbook 2019
Welcome to the first edition of the Stockholm Arbitration Yearbook!
The Yearbook contains chapters on arbitration law in general and Swedish
arbitration law in particular. Each edition will have one or more chapters accounting
for developments in Swedish case law and legislation since the previous one. Those are
the only recurring topics that the editors envisage.
This first edition’s chapters are consequently a mix of general and Swedish
arbitration law.

Axel Calissendorff
is a partner in and founder of Calissendorff Swartiing. Prior to that he was a partner in major Swedish law firms. He is the Solicitor to H.M. the King of Sweden and former President of the Swedish Bar Association. His focus is on Corporate and Public M&A. He often sits as an arbitrator. He has authored numerous articles.
Patrik Schöldström
is an independent arbitrator and of counsel at Nordenson Advokatbyrå. He is a former Judge of Appeal of the Svea Court of Appeal, and an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law of Stockholm University. He has a doctorate in arbitration law and is a former member of the Swedish Bar. He regularly writes articles and case notes.
